Compressed air systems
Compressed Air is indispensable on boar dof submarines and navy ships. With compressed air tanks are blown out, engines are started, the most sophisticated processes are controlled and even drive shafts are tightened. Compressed air is required at different pressures all over the submarine / ship. The compressed air system comprises HP-Air cylinders. Compressors, dryers, manifolds, filters, pressure reducers and pressure reducing stations as well as all kind of valves such as shut-off valves, regulating valves, safety relief valves, hull valves, etc.
SAB-SYSTEMS
SAB offers the complete range of valves and filters required for a ship’s or a submarine’s high pressure and low pressure compressed air system. In cooperation with our customers we develop and supply bespoke design manifolds, pressure reducing stations and valves, which meet special requirements. Based on our long experience we consult our customers in the development of new systems.
Components
VALVES
SAB valves are designed for minimum noise and in a cartridge insert format for ease of maintenance and product update/change without the removal of the housing from the on-board system...>>
PRESSURE REDUCERS
Pressure reducers automatically control the flow of HP gases at a predetermined pressure…>>
BESPOKE DESIGN
We help our customers in finding the best solution, optimizing weight, space and the function of our bespoke products...>>
PRESSURE REDUCING STATIONS
Reducing stations are designed and built to satisfy our customers’ needs. They reduce HP air/gas to LP in a single monoblock housing with all flow paths integrated...>>
BLOCK DISTRIBUTORS
All cartridges are insertet into one block casing...>>
SAB can offer every component of a compressed air system. For special purposes we can help with bespoke designed pressure reducing stations, manifolds and Valves.
